At Morris Leslie Auctions, we believe every vehicle has a story. Whether it was the first car you bought with your wages, a birthday gift by your parents, or the first car to turn your head in the streets. These cars have stayed with us for generations and have become ever-present in the moments of our lives.
Our team at Morris Leslie Auctions understand the emotional connection people have with their classic vehicles and are proud to launch a new series retelling and showing this connection. Below you’ll find stories from our customers sharing their connection and experience with these vehicles.
Rab’s Story
Back in February 2025, Rab Cameron, a farmer and agricultural contractor based in St Andrews purchased a 1964 Morris WFK120 Dropside Lorry from Morris Leslie’s Classic Vehicle Auction. Shortly after purchasing the lorry, Rab had it traditionally sign-written to reflect his business, R&C Cameron, with the lorry quickly becoming a recognisable part of their fleet.
The Morris now sits alongside their Dodge Kew lorry and the pair are used to transport hay and haylage to the Equine Market. Rab explains that the lorry also serves as a great advertising tool for the business, especially when attending shows and markets.
If you have bought or sold a classic with us and have a story to tell, get in touch with us for a chance to have your memories shared on our website. Email [email protected] to share your story.
