Service Foreman – Newark


Role: Service Foreman – Newark Depot – 45 hours per week – 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

About you:
Are you a determined individual with experience working as a Service Foreman? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Foreman to join our talented and highly respected team at Morris Leslie Plant Hire in Newark.
You will be responsible for ensuring the service department runs smoothly and efficiently each day and ensuring that consistent availability of core equipment is always available and fit for hire. You are to ensure that all the plant equipment is repaired, serviced and cleaned prior to any hire with a planned maintenance programme. You are to maintain a system inspection of all off hired plant to identify any damage. You will also ensure adequate staff cover at all times by vetting holiday requests and monitoring workload.


  • Have a sound understanding of plant equipment.
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Experience of working in a similar position at supervisory level
