HGV Driver – Class 2 – Saltash

Role: HGV Class 2 Driver Saltash Depot – 45 hours per week – 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

We are now seeking an HGV Driver to support our business as we continue to grow.

About the role:

With the full support and direction of the Depot Manager you will be responsible for delivering a variety of plant equipment to customers within a designated geographical area who have hired equipment. You will also be responsible for collecting equipment post hire term to be returned to the depot. In addition, you will provide excellent customer service to all customers and stakeholders and will work closely with local hire and service teams regarding machine status, customer needs and route planning. You will ensure you load and unload equipment safely and securely working to current legislation and companies’ procedures.

Working Full Time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 5:00pm, as well a competitive salary we offer a range of benefits including:

What you’ll need:

• A valid in date C license is essential
• A valid digital tachograph card
• Full driver qualification card (Driver CPC)
• Must be a team player with a positive and flexible attitude to work
• Good time keeping with the ability to work unsupervised
• Be experienced in multi-site deliveries/collections

Helpful Experience:

• 6 months driving C experience desirable, however new drivers will be considered
• Experience of using a mobile tablet data system
