Credit Controller – Caledonian House, West Kinfauns – 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

About you:

Are you a self-motivated, organised and confident communicator? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our busy Finance team as a Credit Controller based at our Head Office in West Kinfauns, Perth.

The role:

You will be responsible for supervising a section of the debtor’s ledger of Morris Leslie Plant Hire.

You will liaise by telephone, email and letter with the external customers and internal contacts to ensure payments are made in a timely manner and ensure all arrears are collected. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the department runs smoothly.

You will process the new customer credit applications on a daily basis, ensuring they meet the required standards and that they have provided proof of having the appropriate level of Hired in Plant Insurance.

You will liase with the sales team, depot managers and hire controllers to ensure queries and disputes that affect payments are dealt with promptly.

You will also deal with credit blocks on accounts that are in arrears.

Essential:

  • Previous credit control experience

  • Excellent and confident communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced role
