UPDATE – 24/3/20 – AUCTION OFFICE CLOSED & AUCTIONS CANCELLED

From previous communications, you will be aware that Morris Leslie Auctions have been closely monitoring government advice regarding the spread of COVID-19. The situation continues to develop rapidly and in light of last night’s statement regarding new government protocols and in order to protect the health and well-being of our staff and customers, we have taken the decision to close our offices and cancel any upcoming auctions effective from 1pm, Tuesday 24th March until further notice.

Naturally, we will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will keep our customers up to date on developments and re-opening dates as soon as we are able.

UPDATE – 23/3/20 – ONLINE ONLY AUCTIONS

Morris Leslie Auctions continue to monitor the advice of the NHS and the UK Government in this constantly evolving situation. Please be reassured, that the safety of our staff and customers is our upmost priority. As such, this week’s auctions will be ONLINE ONLY AND NOT OPEN FOR PUBLIC ATTENDANCE

Tuesday’s Modern Auction and Wednesday’s Plant Auction and Light Commercial Auctions will take place at the usual times (Modern – 6pm, Plant – 10:30am). However, these will be ONLINE AUCTIONS ONLY WITH NO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE. Meaning all lots will be sold live online with a live auctioneer.

Other bidding methods will be available at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

Extra pictures, details and videos will be posted online.

Viewing will be controlled and will be strictly Tuesday 10am – 5pm and we urge site visitors to adhere to current government regulations regarding social distancing.

We also ask, for the safety of our people, other visitors and guests that you do not attend if you or someone you share a home with is showing symptoms of the virus.

The number of customers in the auction office at any one time will be limited to a maximum of THREE which will be fully backed by all staff and any customers aggrieved by this will be asked to leave.

Transport will run as normal for collection and delivery of lots but we ask customers to be patient at this time.

Note: All food services on site have been suspended until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis. As this information is subject to change, we urge our customers to register for online bidding and to simply ask should they wish a member of staff to appraise any lots they have interest in, we will be happy to help.
